Yoga for all was conceived in 2008 as a way of bringing the benefits of yoga to diverse communities in East London - groups who would not normally get the chance to experience yoga and its benefits.

In a way too, it was an attempt to counter the prevalence of the competitive, goal orientated yoga I saw being taught elsewhere – in sports clubs and elite health centres in particular.

Those early classes, in collaboration with St Hilda's East Community Centre, proved a great success.  And the chair yoga programme in particular proved that yoga and the philosophy of mindfulness can enrich and improve the lives of all participants, whatever their age, fitness level or personal belief system. Since then Yoga for All has expanded and now offers a range of classes and workshops both in London and on the beautiful North Norfolk coast, near Wells.

As always the emphasis is on self awareness, ease of movement and individual practice.
